In response, we introduced PayStay QR codes. By scanning a PayStay QR code, PayStay users can quickly load the details of their parking location, zone and applicable tariffs without the need to manually open the PayStay app and enter information.
At PayStay, we hold ourselves to the highest industry standards for payment card security and data sovereignty, and we always want to make sure that our users are safe. So before you scan a QR code, we ask that you be on the lookout for any common signs of possible tampering.
Have a quick look to make sure that the QR code you scan looks authentic. If it looks correct and authentic, go ahead and scan our convenient PayStay QR code.
Check that the PayStay branding is present, and it's consistent with the other
PayStay branding in the area—the colours, logos, and quality of branding should be the same.

There should be no graffiti or damage that might alter the QR code itself.
There should be no new QR code stickers placed over an older PayStay QR code.
When you view a QR code using the camera of your device, you should be able to see what website is associated with that QR code. The website preview should
show a paystay.com.au address.
We want you to be able to use our PayStay QR codes with complete confidence that your personal information is in safe hands. So if something about a PayStay QR code doesn't look quite right to you, don't scan it.
